What is a transfer student?

• Anyone who, after graduating from high school or earning a GED, earns college credit at one or more colleges or universities and then decides to switch and apply to UW-Stevens Point. 
• Students transfer for a variety of reasons, including academic majors, college location, and their own personal life circumstances. 
• This does NOT apply to students who take college courses in high school (AP, CLEP, IB, Dual Enrollment) or the summer right after graduating high school, and then attend UW-Stevens Point that same fall.

Transfer Visits 
Duration: 2 hours 
- UWSP and Admissions Overview (30 minutes)
- Student-Led Campus Tour (1 hour 30 minutes - rain, snow, or shine)

LiveSP (Virtual Visit)
Duration: 1 hour
