 GROUP VISITS - STEVENS POINT CAMPUS
Thank you for your interest in joining UW-Stevens Point for a group visit. We are excited to host you on campus soon!
As you prepare to request your visit, please read through the following information prior to selecting a date as selecting a date indicates you understand and agree to the following information.
- Inquiries:
- This form is to be used for middle (7th and 8th grade), high school and college programs of organized groups of seven or more individuals.
- For grade/elementary school groups, contact our office at admiss@uwsp.edu for other campus opportunities.
- Prior to completing the form, please note we require all groups to follow the one (1) chaperone for every ten (10) students ratio policy.
- Calendar:
- Below shows visit dates 3-weeks out from the current date. Our office schedules this far in advance to allow optimal time in scheduling an informative and fun visit.
- When using the calendar, select your top date of choice (this does not lock you in to the time listed as you will be able to update this preference on the next page) for your group to join us in person on campus.
- This will tentatively hold this date until it is confirmed with our office.
- Visits are typically held Monday through Thursday, with Friday visits assessed on a case by case basis. If your desired visit date is not displayed, please contact our office directly at admiss@uwsp.edu.
- All group visits are conducted primarily in line with the UWSP academic calendar to offer you a great experience while classes are in session.
- Activities:
- Each visit requires a minimum of 120 minutes for activities.
- Required activities include a check-in period and an admissions presentation.
- We will try our best to accommodate all other requested activities, however, these are not guaranteed.
- Policies to note:
- Group Size
- Groups of 34 students or less will receive a guided tour of campus.
- Groups of 35 students or more will receive materials for an immersive scavenger hunt tour experience.
- Our office has a capacity of 100 students per group visit request.
- If you are seeking a visit with more than 100 students during the same visit date and time, please email our office directly.
- Contact information is required for each attending student joining us on campus to properly document your group visit and follow risk management regulations.
- Student information is protected and not shared outside of the university.
- This information is required before students arrive to campus OR must be provided at check-in to proceed with your visit.
- We do not host group visits after 4:30PM each week day or on weekends.
