Admitted Student Day at UW-Stevens Point
Admitted Student Day (ASD) is designed to celebrate your acceptance and help you prepare for your next steps at UW-Stevens Point. Our team is busy rolling out the purple carpet to get campus ready for you! This guide highlights what you need to know ahead of time so you can make the most of your visit.
What to Know Before You Go
Scholarships
We’re giving away over $70,000 in scholarships at Admitted Student Day (ASD)! Review the scholarship levels and qualifications to see how you could earn a $250, $500 or $1,000 award: 2026 ASD Scholarships.
Orientation and Academic Advising Registration
ASD attendees receive early access to schedule their In-Person Orientation and Virtual Academic Advising (course registration) appointments. Because these sessions fill quickly, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Earlier appointments mean more class options when you register.
The Orientation and Advising Session will take place at 2:30 PM. During this time, a team member will guide you through the self-registration process, or you may choose to schedule your dates with a professional staff member.
Signing up for Orientation and Advising does not lock you into attending UWSP. It simply ensures you’re in the best position to secure your preferred classes.
We recommend reviewing your calendar in advance so you’re ready to select the dates that work best for you.
Orientation DatesMonday–Thursday during the weeks below. You only attend one date.

Parking
Follow the ASD parking map for designated campus lots and city streets available for the event. Dotted lines on the map will guide you from parking areas to Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall Quandt Gym for check-in.
Dress for the Day
Dress comfortably and plan for the weather. You’ll be walking across campus throughout the day, so we recommend checking the forecast and wearing layers if needed.
What to Expect After You Attend
After signing up for both Orientation and Academic Advising, you will receive a confirmation email with your selected dates. You’ll then receive reminder emails with next steps as your advising appointment and orientation approach.
Our team will continue to check in over the next few months to help you stay on track with important to-do items and to answer any questions along the way.
Scholarship Drawings
If you are selected as a recipient of one of the ten $500 scholarships (drawn that afternoon) or one of the seven $1,000 scholarships (drawn the day after the event), you will receive an email notification the next business day. A physical certificate will be mailed within 5–10 business days following the Admitted Student Day you attended.
